The helmet itself is a M40 (model 1940), the shell is stamped ET66 indication it was manufactured by Eisenhttenwerk AG, Thale Harz. Size 66 is a nice large size that can accommodate liners from 56cm to 58cm or US 7 to 7 1 4. The lot number, located on the rear of the helmet, is 91. The Helmet shows remnants of the original Army Decal on the left side,
